The study discusses the legislative obstacles to the freedom of conscience in Armenia, the relations between religious organizations, the intolerant religious attitudes of state authorities and the public at large. Stories of religious people, who experienced difficulties and discrimination because of their confessional choice, are described. The study also summarizes the researches conducted in the field of religious freedom in the last 5 years.
